First, the free fix: if your key suddenly won't turn, check the steering wheel. Park with the wheels turned against a curb — a daily event on Hudson County's hills and tight street parking — and the steering lock binds the cylinder under pressure. Turn the wheel gently toward center while turning the key. If that releases it, you were never broken. If the key still fights you on level ground, the cylinder itself is the problem, and that's where we come in.
