These terms apply to locksmith services provided by Locksmith & Security LLC ("we," "us") and to your use of this website. By requesting service or using the site, you agree to them.

Service quotes & pricing

• We provide an upfront quote before any work begins. The final price matches the quote unless the scope changes on-site — and any change is agreed with you first.
• Quotes given by phone or through the website are estimates based on the information you provide; the confirmed price is set by the technician on-site before starting.
• Payment is due on completion of the work unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Proof of ownership or authorization

For your protection and ours, we verify that you're authorized before opening or changing locks on any property or vehicle. We may ask for government-issued photo ID and proof of residency, ownership, or written authorization (for example, a lease, registration, or letter from the owner). We may decline service if authorization can't be reasonably established.

Workmanship & hardware

• Our workmanship is warranted — if an issue arises from our installation or repair, contact us and we'll make it right.
• Hardware we supply is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Warranties don't cover damage from misuse, forced entry, weather, or work performed by others after us.
• Where a customer requests work on damaged, worn, or non-standard hardware, we'll flag risks before starting; pre-existing conditions are not covered.

Appointments & cancellations

You can cancel or reschedule a non-emergency appointment at no charge with reasonable notice. If a technician is dispatched and the job is cancelled on arrival, a service-call fee may apply — we'll tell you the fee before dispatching.

Website use

• Content on this site is provided for general information about our services and may change without notice.
• You agree not to misuse the site (no scraping at scale, no attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access, no submitting false service requests).
• All site content, branding, and logos are the property of Locksmith & Security LLC and may not be reused without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New Jersey law, our liability for any claim arising from services or use of this website is limited to the amount you paid for the service at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Communications consent

By submitting a service request with your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about that request. This is transactional communication, not marketing; message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Hudson County, NJ.
